Scrolller works like a reddit-fed gallery scroller: no ad banners cluttering the page, no forced signup, no autoplay sound. First-click redirects off-site don't happen either, so at least it doesn't try to walk you into some other tab.
The catch is what fires in the background. One popunder pops on your first click, and the crawler logged five known ad/tracking hosts among nine third-party domains contacted. That's the kind of thing you won't see but that follows you around after.
Mobile works fine, HTTPS is standard, and it's not flagged in any malware feed. For a free GIF aggregator this is a reasonably clean setup, just not spotless. Worth using, worth expecting one popup on the first tap.
