DefineBabe measures well against the usual free tube baseline. A single ad slot on the landing page, no autoplay-with-sound, no notification nags, and no popunder fired on first click. Nothing redirected off-site either, which is rarer than it should be in this category.
The one blemish is the tracking load: four of the six third-party domains contacted are known ad or analytics hosts. That's not nothing, but it's far below what most free tubes run, and it didn't affect load behavior or trigger any redirects.
Site is usable on a 390px phone screen without layout breaking, and HTTPS is in place. No malware-feed hits. For a free tube, this is close to as quiet as the category gets.
